It is quite the humbling experience to watch growth, particularly in those you love. I can confidently say that I am proud of what my family represents. I believe in what they are doing, the faces they surround themselves with and quite frankly, I'm ecstatic to see them flourish personally and professionally. As my journal states, "I believe that what we become depends on what our parents teach us at those odd moments when they are not even trying. The truth is that my family lives and breaths inside of me every single day and that is such a gift."
I have officially rekindled my love affair with travels and meeting new, beautiful people. I am feeling more inclined to make this a part of my life and to share my experiences in a meaningful way. As I am winding down from this weekend away, I am more inspired and motivated than ever. What a privilege. Seeing a familiar face in an unfamiliar space literally gives me shivers when I pause to soak it all in.
